Quantum AminoFrost
A comprehensive anti-stress formulation designed to increase plant resistance to cold damage. It is used as a cryoprotectant before potential frosts, to relieve stress, and to restore active growth.

Action and Effects of the Microfertilizer
Quantum AmiNoFrost contains several groups of cryoprotective and stimulating components:
- surfactants help stabilize cell membranes; by increasing the concentration of soluble substances and lowering the freezing point, they prevent damage caused by ice formation within cells and in intercellular spaces; they accelerate the absorption of the product’s ingredients by the leaf surface;
- anti-stress agents (amino acids and organic acids) activate the biochemical mechanisms of plant adaptation and increase the activity of phytohormones and antioxidant enzymes; stimulate the synthesis of stress proteins, osmolytes, and proline, and promote rapid plant recovery after exposure to low temperatures;
- Zn and B increase cold tolerance by activating antioxidant enzymes, stimulating auxin synthesis, and promoting root system growth; promote the accumulation of carbohydrates and the synthesis of phenolic compounds, which contribute to cellular resistance to mechanical stress caused by the formation of extracellular ice; increase the rate of photosynthesis at low temperatures.
It is used as a cryoprotectant in:
- fruit crops to protect flower buds and ovaries from frost damage and to increase plant resistance to temperature fluctuations during bud break and flowering;
- grapes and nut crops to protect young shoots and leaves from low temperatures (late spring frosts) after the onset of vigorous growth;
- vegetable and industrial crops to protect young plants during late spring frosts and snow;
- winter crops to protect cereal and rapeseed seedlings from early fall frosts; helps mitigate the effects of cold stress after the resumption of early spring growth.
Application Method
Seed Treatment
Application rate: 1–2 L/t of seeds for cereal, legume, industrial, and vegetable crops.
Foliar application
As a cryoprotectant, Quantum AmiNoFrost should be applied no later than 24 hours before expected frosts or a critical drop in temperature, at the following application rates:
- for field and vegetable crops – 0.7–1.5 L/ha,
- for fruit and berry crops – 0.3–0.4 L/100 L.
If there is a threat of new frosts (under favorable application conditions), the product may be reapplied. Spraying should be carried out when there is a high probability of frost, especially during critical stages of development.
When used as a wetting agent and adjuvant—to enhance the effectiveness of plant protection products and fertilizers—the product is applied at the standard rate of 0.2–0.7 L/ha.
As an anti-stress agent—to accelerate recovery from low temperatures under favorable application conditions or from other types of stress throughout the entire growing season— apply Quantum AminoFrost (0.5–1.0 L/ha) in combination with Quantum AminoMax 200 at a rate of 0.5 L/ha.
During spraying, the application rate of the working solution is: for field and vegetable crops—200–400 L/ha; for grapes and fruit crops—500–1,000 L/ha. Treatments are performed using standard sprayers. The working solution is prepared immediately before application. Fill the tank 2/3 full with water and, while stirring, add the pesticides and fertilizers sequentially; add “Quantum-AmiNoFrost” last, after waiting for the previous component to be thoroughly mixed.
These recommendations are not exhaustive; given the wide range of application options for the product, it may be used in other ways. If necessary, it is recommended to consult the manufacturer.
Compatibility with Other Agrochemicals
Quantum AminoFrost can be applied in combination with plant protection products and other fertilizers, but it is not recommended to combine fertilization with herbicide application during the early stages of plant development, as this may increase the phytotoxic effect on the crop and the anti-stress effect on weeds. It is recommended to check the compatibility of the products before mixing: a test solution should not form a precipitate. Slight cloudiness is permissible.
