Quantum Slow Nitrogen
A liquid, concentrated, slow-release nitrogen fertilizer that provides a controlled and gradual supply of nitrogen for foliar and root feeding.
Product information
- Total N — 35.0% (350 g/L)
- Slow-release N — 18.5% (185 g/L)
- pH — 8.0–10.5
- Density — 1.24–1.28 kg/L
Action and Effects of Microfertilizers
A new generation of “smart fertilizers” that significantly improves plants’ nitrogen use efficiency and prevents unwanted toxic effects. More than half of the fertilizer’s composition consists of total nitrogen in a form characterized by prolonged action. The remaining nitrogen is in the amide form, which is rapidly absorbed by the plant and incorporated into its metabolism.
Benefits of the fertilizer:
- A unique combination of fast-acting nitrogen (for rapid correction of deficiencies) and slow-release nitrogen (for sustained nutrition).
- Sustained release of nitrogen without the risk of stimulating excessive vegetative growth.
- Improves crop growth and development, helps correct nitrogen deficiencies, and promotes better plant recovery after stressful conditions.
- An ideal solution for foliar and soil application, including fertigation.
- The lowest salt index among all nitrogen fertilizers, with low phytotoxicity and a low risk of burn.
- Unique wetting properties for foliar application.
- Higher nitrogen utilization rate.
- Flexibility in choosing application timing.
- Reduces unproductive nitrogen losses due to leaching and/or volatilization.
- Compatible with fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers.
- Non-corrosive.
Application Method
Foliar application
Recommended application rates for foliar application are 5–25 L/ha, depending on the crop and growth stage. Quantum Slow-Release Nitrogen can be applied alone or in tank mixtures with other fertilizers and plant protection products.
When applying foliar feeding, the application rate of the working solution is:
- for vegetable crops—200–400 L/ha
- for grapes and fruit crops—500–1,000 L/ha
Applications are performed using standard sprayers. The working solution is prepared immediately before application. Fill the tank 2/3 full with water and, while stirring, add the components one at a time, waiting until the previous component is thoroughly mixed in. Spraying should be done in the morning or evening. The optimal air temperature is 10–25°C, with wind speeds up to 5 m/s.
Warning. Treatment is not recommended under conditions of low or high air temperatures, intense sunlight, or strong winds.
Fertigation
When fertigating vegetable, fruit, and berry crops as well as grapes, the fertilizer is applied 3–6 times during the growing season, depending on the plants’ nitrogen requirements, at a rate of 20–50 L/ha.
Soil Application
Quantum Slow-Release Nitrogen can be applied to the soil on its own or in a mixture with other nitrogen fertilizers. It can be mixed with UAN in any ratio, providing four forms of nitrogen: ammonium, nitrate, amide, and slow-release nitrogen.
Compatibility with other agrochemicals
Quantum Slow-Release Nitrogen can be applied in combination with plant protection products and other fertilizers. It is recommended to check the compatibility of the products before mixing: a test solution should not form a precipitate. Slight cloudiness is permissible.
