Quantum Diafan ACTion 2.0 7-20-4
A new formulation of premium liquid starter fertilizers featuring phosphorus (P) protection technology, which significantly increases its effectiveness, especially in alkaline or acidic soils and when applied in tank mixes with hard water. It is additionally enriched with Zn (5 g/L) and contains ACTion components and P-fixation inhibitors, which prevent phosphorus from binding and promote its prolonged uptake by plants.

Benefits of QUANTUM DIAFAN ACTion 2.0
- Highly effective on acidic and alkaline soils; stable when applied in tank mixes with water thanks to phosphorus protection technology;
- contains additional zinc, meeting crops’ initial needs even in the presence of a severe zinc deficiency in the soil;
- by reducing phosphorus binding, it improves its diffusion in the soil, increasing the availability and assimilation of nutrients, including micronutrients;
- ACTion technology for intensifying rhizosphere processes;
- contains an available orthophosphate form of phosphorus, is free of dead-weight salts, and has a low salt index.
Phosphorus Protection Technology
Soil pH affects the availability of nutrients, particularly phosphorus (P) and micronutrients, by altering the form of these nutrients. Directly or indirectly, pH affects the solubility of these elements, determining their bioavailability and mobility in the soil.
In alkaline soils (pH above 7.5), phosphate ions react with calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) to form poorly soluble compounds. In acidic soils (pH below 5.5), phosphorus (P) reacts with aluminum (Al) and iron (Fe), forming insoluble phosphates.

Phosphorus preservation technology is based on the use of P-fixation inhibitors, which work by blocking the negative interaction of phosphorus with antagonistic positively charged ions (Ca²⁺, Fe³⁺, or Al³⁺), which can bind phosphorus and limit its availability to plants, especially under suboptimal soil pH conditions.
Three modes of action:
- prevents phosphorus fixation, especially under suboptimal soil conditions;
- increases the availability of phosphorus and other nutrients in the soil and in applied fertilizers;
- prolongs the effect of starter fertilizers, allowing nutrients to remain more available to plants throughout the growing season.

The action of P-fixation inhibitors in KVANTUM DIAFAN ACTion 2.0, illustrated by their use in tank mixes with hard water:
This diagram illustrates how QUANTUM DIAFAN ACTion 2.0 protects phosphorus and blocks its interaction with Ca and Mg cations in the soil. When applying a conventional liquid fertilizer, precipitation, phosphorus adsorption, and the formation of insoluble compounds that are unavailable to plants may occur.
