Quantum Boron + EDTA-Chelated Calcium
A complex liquid boron fertilizer enriched with calcium in chelated form, recommended for fertilizing boron-loving field and fruit crops, especially during the reproductive phase of their development. The presence of nitrogen has a positive effect on the plant’s uptake of calcium.
Product information
- N – 5.7% (57 g/L)
- B – 10.5% (105 g/L)
- CaO – 4.2% (42 g/L)
- pH – 7.0–8.0
- Density – 1.33–1.37 kg/L
- Ca cations are chelated with EDTA
Action and Effects of Micronutrients
- Effective supply of boron and calcium, especially under conditions of insufficient moisture;
- the chelated form of calcium ensures excellent absorption and translocation within plants;
- Compatible in tank mixes with other fertilizers and pesticides;
- Improves flowering and pollination and promotes cell wall strength;
- Prevents flower and soybean pod abortion;
- extends the shelf life of fruits and vegetables and reduces disease damage during the post-harvest period.
A balanced content of B and Ca ensures:
- the development and germination of pollen grains, the growth of pollen tubes, the synthesis and accumulation of sugars, and improved flowering. A deficiency of B and Ca leads to seed abortion, especially under conditions of moisture deficiency;
- cell wall strength (formation of cell wall polysaccharides) and cell division;
- the functioning of root nodules and nitrogen fixation in legumes.
